And shouldn't entertainers quit using guitars made out of wood, when they have concerts for 'saving the rain forrest'? And how about those concerts, against nuclear power, all the wattage they are using to play electric instruments?

Most newsprint is recycled paper--cardboard boxes and the like reused. WOuld have little effect. Most rainforest is being cut down not for timber, but to increase farmland. So most forest being cut down is just burned in place, not even used.

The rainforests are not being cut down for paper products. They are being cut down to create farm and grazing land.

You can always recycle the papers. where i work we make paper from pulp and also recycled old paper
