Dr. Abudul Kalam is liked and loved by all. He had given dignity and charisma to the prestigious Presidential post. He would positively not like to dangle further in the murky politics of this country. You will not find a suitable successor to him in Lok Sabha Speaker who is unable even to conduct the Parliament in order. Politicians are not people’s favorites. Now we need a Lady President, bold, humane and enterprising. You will find one in Ms. Sudha Murthy, Head of Infosys Foundation that feed many charitable projects all over the country. She is highly qualified and daring too. She took on J R D Tata who did not employ female persons in Tata groups. She won the job and was the first female job entrant in Tatas, This country needs a charismatic person like Sudha Murthy and she will be the most suitable person to succeed Dr. Abdul Kalam. We already had Indira Gandhi as our Lady Prime Minister and now it is time that we have a lady President too at the helm. lileeann33

Having a Lady President for the first time in the history of Indian politics is a wonderful idea, but we Indians are more of male biased people, Mrs. Indira Gandhi no doubt became the first P.M. of India but that was not by peoples choice initially, it was the circumstances at that time when after the tragic death of Late Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri she was sworn in as the interim P.M.. Which latter turned into full fledge term, followed by few more of her terms as P.M. In India we people in general never want ladies to come forward & take all such responsibilities, rather even in 21st centuries we treat our ladies as if they belong to 11th century, that’s the whole tragedy. Now Indian ladies are fighting to get into the main stream by their own hard work & achievement that why we see so many ladies out there showing the Indian males that they are second to none. Although the election of President is not direct election if it was I would have cast my vote for a lady president who ever she would be whether Ms. Sudha Murthy or any one as I want these ladies to be out & get into any such field that remained male dominated only because of bias against them which we males of India carry.

This is a propaganda statement for Ms Sudha Murty. If your
father is the owner of the company you can rise from the post of peon to Managing Director.
The qualities bold, humane, educated and enterprising are not
the essential qualities for a President. The main job of the President is to uphold the constitution. He should have a very good knowledge of the constitution in both letter and
spirit. He has got legal advisers for the job but still he shall have to find out whether he will take this advice of the
legal adviser or not.
Dr Abdul kalam failed in this respect. He allowed the"Office
of Profit Bill" to pass in a hurried manner. He allowed it to
pass from backdate.Any law which is allowed to pass from backdate is a bad law.
Infosys is not Bill Gates.Infosys is only doing "Dalali"
Infosys because the time is good has employed some
mediocrites from capitation fee colleges and buying
their labour at a cheap rate is selling the same at a higher
rate [I may be wrong in my assessment] in foreign countries
with a huge profit. This mediocrite computer technicians
who are getting more money for their worth are showering
praise for Ms Sudha Murthy and wants she should be PRESIDENT!!!

My friend, Bold, Humane, Educated and enterprising Lady will never even think of becoming President of India. The Presidents of India are traditionally the people who are stamp pads and knows nothing about people. Tell me which President has done something for the people???

Poor ladies, leave them from this dirty post, let them become a great entrepreneur and do some Good for the society by means of generating employment etc.

It is not question of male or female, the person should run the country with peace and calm.He should have say in politics too.Just to sit idle person like Abdul kalam ,or Sudha need not waste the time.I don't know in the past five yrs wha we have lost from Dr.Kalam, he should have allowed to flourish in his feild .Like that Sudha enjoy her pride in Infosys not in rubberstamp.

Why we ought to continuously hire women? Is it merely because of the fact they're women? No. that's not appropriate. There are in a position women in India who've arise not because of the fact they're women yet because of the fact they're in a position. Mrs. Anna Chandy grew to alter right into a decide in Kerala long term back. the 1st Muslim woman engineer is from Trivandrum Engineering college. Kiren bedi is a fashionable police woman. you could internet site many many females individuals because of the fact of their ability have arise in life.No relatives or political help. The placed up of President is power much less and no ambitious, humane, knowledgeable woman can do something there. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Radhakrishnan and Dr. Zakir hussain have been all very super personalities. What they could do there? not something. they can't disagree with the politicians. so they many times save silent.
