This is not a smart alec remark:

A writer has no shortage of ideas to choose from. It never fails to amaze me how many people want to write but don't have the ideas and come here seeking them from others.

You have the seed of an idea. Go with that, flesh out your characters, get to know them. They will start to tell you their stories and you'll be compelled to write them down.

If this doesn't happen, you might find another hobby, like knitting or karate or something. Seriously.

I pass judgement on a well booklet, similar to I could pass judgement on a well film. My quantity one rule is, if it makes me cry, it is handed my experiment. I like books that make me consider as although the characters and their instances are truly. I desire to put out of your mind that I'm even studying. A well booklet is one who continues you up into the early hours of the morning. You uncover your self crying, shaking in worry or pleasure. Those are the books which are "dermis breaking" individually. So a few persons might love Twilight, different's hate it. As lengthy because it made any person, someplace get the ones chills and goosebumps, it is regarded a well booklet in my head. Well-written does not neccessarily imply it has to have large vocab and such a lot of main points you do not even realize what is going down, to me it simply signifies that the creator is aware of what she or he is doing with their tale. Oh good, I'm rambling, so I'll give up. But virtually, a well booklet has to seize you by means of the hair and throw you into a global you by no means knew existed and depart you awe-struck and confused while it is over.

The story you describe is a day-to-day, slice of life sort of book.

You can start by writing it diary style. Sit down for a set amount of time each day, and write about what happened to your character that day. (I write fiction for two hours every day, and kick out about five double-spaced pages. You should pick a goal that works for you.)

Don't censor yourself or edit as you write - just let it flow naturally, the way you would if you were writing about your own life.

Quickly, you'll develop the woman's character, identify some of her friends, come up with some interesting events. You can either continue in the diary style, or you can use it as the basis to write the story in another form.

This is kind of an easy-going, low pressure way to get the story flowing. If you have fun with the writing, it will be hard for you to put your own book down :-)

You could have her fall in love with this nice guy in the office that she never really noticed before. Maybe the sort of guy who's always right on the edge of things.

are you a writer? then write. steve king said if you cant be bothered to spend four hours a day writing and four hours a day reading then dont bother. My advice is to read read read. the write write write, then put your stuff away and read some more, then review your work and you'll find its all trash - so re-write, re-write, ,etc

It's better to write it yourself, so you don't worry about someone stealing your idea.
