I craved spinach,(I needed more iron) not like they do in movies, but just wanted spinach alot, nothing weird. If you have no cravings that means that your body is nourishing the baby properly & not taking from your health. Your body makes you crave what you need, when you need it if you listen to it.

OMG what cravings..... I never ate chocolate as a child---even on Halloween I would go trick-or-treating and bring my "goodies" home and dump them on the floor and let my 2 brothers fight over the stuff... but when I became pregnant, I couldn't get ENOUGH chocolate... it was SOOOO bad that if I didn't have a chocolate milkshake prepared for me ON MY BED STAND as I was waking up in the morning, I was physically sick all day long... I ate an entire box of Chocolate chip cookies (Friehoffer which are the BEST I ever tasted) in about one hours time, and I would have chocolate ice cream for lunch AND dinner sometimes and nothing else....I still love milkshakes and crave them once in a while---29 years later.... and I also still enjoy those cookies just NOT BY THE BOX any more... oh and my son- - - - he eats VERY LITTLE candy or chocolate....

most cravings are your bodies way of telling you that you need something in your diet your not getting, and with pregnant women sometimes your body is confused on what vitamins you need, therefore the weird cravings. i personally am 10 weeks pregnant and am already having cravings for ice and hamburgers (i usually dont eat meat) my weirdest craving ever was in my first pregnancy, i mixed canned peaches, pickles and lays potato chips in a big bowl and ate every last bite! but some women never get cravings, while others crave crazy stuff all the time. i read one woman craved paper and windex! of course its not always safe to eat cravings, so just be thankful that your satisfied with what you eat and dont have to find a store at 3am to buy a squash and hot sauce.

From my first pregnancy my husband will never let me live down the time I made him go to Jack in the Box at 2am for a burger and fries. I was about 3 months pregnant at the time.
During my second pregnancy my biggest craving was Eggo Homestyle waffles with Shed's Spread and Smuckers Red Raspberry Preserves (all the brands had to be exact or it just didn't hit the spot). That craving was from about 20 weeks until the end of my pregnancy.

I haven't had any cravings, weird or otherwise. My problem was figuring out what sounds good to eat. I don't have any food aversions but nothing sounds good in particular. So my boyfriend gets annoyed that I keep saying I don't care what we eat, even though I really don't. The only thing that maybe would constitute as a craving is that at times I really really wanted ice water or cold fruit juice. I'm 30 weeks today. Congratulations and good luck to you.

With my daughter I craved beets and I ate them EVERY DAY !! The craving started about 4 months and lasted til the end of the pregnancy. I can count on one hand how many times I've had them since (4 years ago). I started craving cheesesteaks around 7 months.
With my son all I wanted was to chew ice. My ice maker couldn't keep up so I was buying bags of it !!

I think the strange craving thing is more of a myth. Most women I know craved normal things, usually things their bodies need.
First trimester I craved orange Hi-c.
Second trimester I craved anything strawberry, milk and chocolate chip cake.
Third trimester Ive been craving fruit (apples and PB) and arbys. My cravings seem to change often.
This week Ive been craving Denny's... go figure.
