Well my sister found her fiance over the internet so anythings possible, but most of the time online dating doesn't work. And it's really hard on you as well, i mean you don't know if the other person will cheat on you or not. Personally I want a boyfriend/girlfriend that I can see whenever i want and go places with. I don't think it's really a true dating experience if all you do is talk over instant messenger and exchange pictures that could be fake.

I think that its OK. I had good luck with eHarmony and Yahoo Personals. If you dont rush things and use the same caution as you would with anybody interested in you a person should be fine with online dating.

For me it worked out nicely.. I met some great people. this was 4 years ago when i did the dating sites. I still remain good friends with the people I met..

Hazardous. Pedophiles. Danger on every profile (well not every profile). I say so because my sis went on online dating and she got robbed and beaten up when she met with a guy online.

I say if the person is right cuz I have done it...just dont' expect it to get real serious...I've done it...and he turned out to be an ***...it's not as good, cuz they can be cheating on you and you can not even know it...
