Yes it is lame. Its required by law that you go out and party with friends on Friday and Saturday nights ever since the No Lameness Act of 1984. In some states its required to have sex with a stranger every Friday or Saturday night as well.

All kidding aside, no I don't think its lame to not go out on a Friday night. In fact when I do go out drinking with friends at bars or parties on the weekends I end up having a horrible time and regret going and thats why I usually stay home on Friday nights now. Bars are loud, full of angry drunks and drinks are WAY too expensive and that gets old REAL quick.

If you mean is it lame to sit at home, alone, on a Friday night because you don't have a date (or don't want to go out on a date just for the sake of going out), then the answer is no, it is absolutely NOT lame.

If you mean is it lame to sit at home, alone, on a Friday night because you can't think of anything more interesting and satisfying than staying at home, reading, listening to music, enjoying a glass of wine, watching a real tear-wrencher on TV, resting, knitting, sewing, painting (or whatever else you choose to do), then the answer is no, it is DEFINITELY not lame.

Don't be afraid to enjoy and be comfortable in your own company.

Why would you think its lame to be at home on a friday night? Just think of the people over in Iraq or any other warzone where they would spend entire year with no weekends, which I am doing at this minute. Its your life, any thats why your doing what you want to do. No one is forcing you to stay home.

No. Do what you want and don't be bothered by what others think. What difference does it make if it were a Tuesday night? There are other things do do besides date and party on the weekends. You don't have to go out every Friday night. Who is anyone to judge how many friends you have or how full your social calendar is? Those people are not worth the time of day.

No, not if your doing something fun that you like and enjoy. Also, if you're in school, then staying home and finishing your homework is better because then your whole weekend is cleared up!

No. I do it all the time. It actually can be pretty fun. Find a good book or movie and settle in for some quiet time to yourself.
