If Asians (or anyone) comes to this country legally, works hard, and makes an attempt to speak and understand the language and culture then I have no problems. Asians have seemed to do this well. I include Indians and east asians like Chinese.

Well, I'm not in America, I'm in Canada, but we're just next door! From what I've noticed is that it's usually pretty hard to make friends with them (although I do know some exceptions) because they stick together so closely and don't speak English. I am always floored by their great fashion sense and how well they present themselves. They are always very friendly, smile a lot, and are soft spoken and shy with me (although they seem to interact much differently together). I feel as if we are in two totally different worlds that don't ever mesh together perfectly. :(

I think it's wonderful. It is great to live in a country that welcomes everyone. And most of the time, everyone lives well and peacefully together. I love the variety of stores, shops and markets owned, operated and stocked by other races and cultures. Here in the states, we can eat almost any type of meal in a restaurant or purchase the fixings and prepare it ourselves at home. It's great to have live in "the melting pot"!!!

I love diversity. Can you imagine this country without different cultures and all the wonderful things we share with each other. Most Asian people I know are very kind, intelligent and very respectful.

I don't think any thing. I know alot of asians. Some are americans, some are here on visas. As long as they are here legally, I'm fine with it.

I don't understand the point of this question. We are all immigrants in North America and therefore we are all invading what should be the Aboriginals' territory.

Mumbling------my personal perception of Asians in America has been very very positive-----the ones I have known have all been model citizens and good co-workers------they are welcome in my book.
