You started having chores to do?

It depends on your definition of chores. Kids in my family start learning to pick up a few toys here and there as young a 2. But once a child is 5-6 they have to clean their rooms. Then around 7-8 we would help with other things such as washing glasses and bowls, dusting living room etc. Then once i became a teenager and by this time the only child left at home i was cleaning the house while mom was at work. Many experts agree about at least most of this. Its always good to teach responsibility from a young age.

I had chores at 10 or 9 and got $40 a week for taking out the trash lol and now I don't do chores
