Discuss this with your doctor, there are options for you. Many people suffer these types of anxieties and go on to live very normal lives

Not sure. I'm in my 40s, and I avoid people as much as I can. Even my best friends can be a pain.

Maybe build up your confidence doing different things, and then you'll be able to move forward and do things and not be so self-conscious.

Maybe you're a loner, and you have a solitary appreciation for things that you can't experience with other people.

A doctor once told me that we're all basically alone, so it's not always necessary to be around other people.

But you have to function, so just find the most important and beneficial ways to be around other people, and focus on that.

I would recommend you see a psychologist for therapy. They will probably suggest you take an anti anxiety/anti depressent medication such as Zoloft. From reading about the medication Zoloft will help you cope (when taken properly) with your anxieties so that your therapy sessions with your psychologist will progress and help you to eventually overcome your fear. Good luck!
