Yes we do. Loads of them.

Thank goodness, we thought we were the only ones.

They're pretty gross. They're eating machines. They'll eat plants, cardboard, pet food, anything they can get to. There's a product called Deadline that works great but I wouldn't use it if you have kids or pets. A line of salt in front of your door (assuming they come in underneath it) will stop them also. You can also make a trap. Take a two liter plastic bottle, cut the top off at the widest part. Turn that around inserting the neck first into the base of the bottle. you can staple or tape it together. Pour about a cup of beer in the bottle. They will be attracted to the beer and if they don't drown they won't be able to get back out.

Yes, and in the downstairs loo. The slime trails show they come in through the open windows. So much for 'slugs don't like gravel/sharp surfaces' as the house is pebble-dashed.

I dont, thank *!?*. I hate them sooo much they are gross. When I was about 12, I went downstairs inthe middle of the night to the kitchen, barefoot and everything, aaaah, in the middle of the kitchen floor was the biggest slug you have ever seen in your life, uugh!! It was like the blob (if you ever seen that film) absolutely disgusting. I hate them, I dont care what their purpose is, yuk!!

Why are they in your kitchen???
That is gross! Find a way to keep them out. Seal any holes or crevices. Put snail and slug poison around the house, windows and doors. Put salt around the areas where they come inside the house. Ewwwww! Good luck and God Bless!

Yes, but they've gotten better. In the summer, they'll crawl in the house at night and just slime up the place. We get a kick out of pouring salt on them and watching them dissolve!

No slugs, but I do have a jar of snails.
I'm making an escargot appetizer for a cocktail party I'm hosting.
Wanna come?
