Water has leaked from my washing machine and left green ingrained stains on my wooden floor. Can anyone suggest how I can remove or cover them?

You need special cleaner from Amtico, ( your floor is NOT wood! just wood effect so DO NOT sand, wax or varnish it as suggested or you will totally ruin it!) If it won't clean up you should contact an Amtico dealer and they will simply replace the damaged strip(s) which are stuck to the subfloor.

you will most likely have to sand it out. Use 150 grit and when most of the green is gone (don't go too deep into the wood) put a matching stain on the wood that will blend with your current color. Give it a couple days then brush on some polyeurethane. no more stain.

Water marks in wood are if as stated green in colour you cannot remove.Either change the affected area or get a stain that matches and cover over.If its pine you could try to bleach it out but do it in stages or it will go to white. only bleach th green colour and not the good wood.

First wax the floor and then put varnish on it.If that doesnt work then you put a special paint that is for covering stains on wood.

i think you may need to speak to the guys at amtico, they have a website that you can email them on but it doesn't sound promising.
