I stopped taking the pill a month ago, now I'm having headaches, nausea, some cramping (and I don't have my period), and some constipation. My last period was 3 and 1/2 weeks ago (due next week), could this be signs of pregnancy or just pill withdrawal? I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, but it may just be too early to tell since I haven't officially missed a period yet. If it's pill withdrawal, how long will it last?

It's probably pill withdrawal. For some women, there's an adjustment period after stopping the pill. It could take your body anywhere from 1 month to several months to get back on track...depending on how long you were on the pill and your body.

I was the opposite. The whole time I was on the pill I felt sick, about a cycle after I stopped, much better!

One thing for sure, the pregnancy test was way too early. Even if you are pregnant, it wouldn't show up yet. Wait until your period is due and test again, if you still suspect pregnancy.

Good luck.

I stopped taking the pill 3 weeks ago and I feel the same way. It's just hormonal changes that our bodies are going through.
