A day and a half of reading. It was on a weekend. I re-read it every year. It is one of my favs as well. And at every re-read, I take something more from it and different each time.

Two or three day of on again/off again reading. I did other things too (like go to work and take care of the house). I thought the book was OK. I found it disturbing because of the guy's increasing mental illness.

3 sittings of about 2 hours each over 2 days. Just read it recently. I am also one of those who couldn't put it down. I know many Holdens. Haha!

Between one or two weeks. I thought it was great, but I only had to read a few chapters at a time.

Back when I first read it, one day. I couldn't put it down either. I hadn't read that much back then; this was the first book that I'd really identified with.
