Do a media/journalism course at university plus gain some hands-on experience on a student newspaper/radio station/TV station then work your way up to working on a local newspaper then finally, with all that done, apply to a TV station as a journalist. After a minimum of two years, and maybe as long as 10 years, you may become a news presenter, depending on your skills, presentation and looks.

Get some media experience at uni, eg in a student newspaper or even a stuident radio station. Get some skills in interviewing people. Practical experience on your CV would look good.
