IT SHOULDN'T BE A WAR!!
If we had not invaded their country there would be no "Iraq War" , sure they there own wars between cultures but we should not have gotten involved. If we hadn't there would be way less bloodshed. So are you really just that stupid the believe all that crap that were helping them. If we were they wouldn't hate us so much! Wars are a militaristic way of trying to prove something or just being so full of pompous greed (note that I'm talking about bush here) that you decide to go invade whatever country has what you want! in this case oil!
Oil, that is part of the huge problem of global warming that Bush denies cause he doesn't want to deal with it!
Plus, many people say he is protecting the U.S. but #1 how is making more people hate us protecting us?
and #2 why would you go and invade some other country to protect yourself! If he thought they were dangerous, he would keep homeland security at home. I guess that is if he were smart!

So tell, why did we start a whole "new" war to help

I don't call thousands of people dead, helping.

starting wars to make peace makes no sense
starting wars to destroy peace is what happens

make love, not war

This is not our war. This is "Bush's War". Bush should go. His strategies are clearly not working. Someone else needs to step in and try something else if he is not willing to do so. Many things he has done so far have been unconstitutional. This is a country that was made upon the Constitution and therefore the Constitution should be obeyed. Get a copy of the Constitution and read it for yourself. You will find that it was made for the people and to keep Presidents from abusing power to get what they want. This Iraq war was not legal by the Constitutional standards, however, we have a right to be in Afghanistan looking for Bin Laden. Our war is there, not with the Iraqis. Our troops are in the middle of a civil war between the people of Iraq. It is between them, not us. Things will not change in Iraq unless the Iraqi people really have a big desire to change it for themselves and the Iraqi government. The troops need to be taken out of there.

Our war was in Afghanistan, then Saudi Arabia. Bush (like all American politicians) are afraid to confront S.A., where most of the terrorists on 9/11 came from.

Instead they chose Iraq, who had a twice decimate military (from the 8 year Iran/Iraq war, then the Persian Gulf War). They had inspectors on the ground and were covered under a "no-fly" zone.

Oh yeah....a real threat there.

Whose war is it? Nobody's. Iraq was entirely contained, hence why no nation in the region invaded it post-Persian Gulf war.

He's saved us from a possible what? Your second sentence makes no sense. Unfortunately, neither does the rest of your comments. This president has gotten us into an absolute mess. Please tell us all why we are in IRaq because 70% of us know that it isn't about terrorism, or at least it wasn't about terrorism when we first went in. Bush hasn't saved Americans anything. He's spent the treasury, spent the surplus, spent the troops, spent our integrity as a nation, spent our children's futures, spent our tax money on subsidizing the oil industry and the military war profiteers, spent our trust, spent our country and threw away our opportunity to truly go after the terrorists who committed 9/11, Osama bin Laden and Al Zawahiri (sp?). Now we have a mess and a civil war we are managing and fighting in Iraq that we have no business fighting. Bush is a walking disaster. And, no one wants your apologies. We want you to wake up.

It's a Sunni, Kurd, Shite civil war, so it's the whole regions

The artificial borders of Iraq were drawn up by the British after WW2 - It's their battle

And, though I personally believe that Bush should not have invaded Iraq, it's our war because we did. And *if* we can, we should fix it. But I think that's going to mean a lot more diplomacy than military might.

Because this part of the Middle East belongs to Sunni's Kurds and Shite's (persians, arabs..) not to us.

i think of Bush is a good guy who loves usa. i think of each and every of the flaws you consult with could be traced back to the Democrats. I savor President Bush for retaining us risk-free the final seven years. If he hadn't made a stand against terrorism, the international might evaluate him a wuss and then who knows what different assaults we'd have persisted.

WTF make up your tiny minds. THERE IS NO REASON FOR BUSH TO LEAVE THE WHITE HOUSE!!!!!!!!

uhm... its a civil war in a country that we are occupying? .. the funniest thing about questions like this .. is that it shows how completely brainwashed and confused many Americans are..
It's not our war at all, we went in to remove Saddam, actually let me back up. we went in on the heels of 9/11 because the BushCo kept evoking the image of mushroom clouds, as the result of an attack from Iraq, when that turned out to be false the strategy changed to removing Saddam, and it changed again to democratizing the middle east.. but the "war' that you are so gung ho on... is a civl war that has nothing to do with you , me or any other United States Citizen... so what was your question again?
