Pool swimming is a 'safe' experience... but its also a boring experience.
Lake swimming is better in my opinion... its not as safe.. but it feels better, and there isn't any chlorine in it.
Ocean swimming is the best tho.

I used to say a swimming pool. Until I lived on the lake. Now there is absolutely no doubt 4 me. Its a lake. It never is crowded. I love swimming in lakes

I like the look of a lake, and wading in the water, provided there aren't any sharp rocks. I like being in a pool better, except at the local amusement park--their pool is like sharp rocks on the bottom. LOL. Anyway, lakes tend to be too cold for me.

I like the lake better. Don't care much for the chlorine and all the freaking pool rules!

pool, I don't like not knowing where the bottom is and you don't really know what you are swimming into in a lake.

a pool is better cause in lakes you dont know whats in there but a pool you do

I love a good, cold lake; I grew up outside Seattle where there were an abundance of those and even though they're full of fish and seaweed and all manner of strange things, nothing beats fresh mountain lakes to swim in, in my opinion :)

The lake, the pool, doesn't really matter when it's hot and muggy out.
But I think I like my brothers pool the best.

I like a lake or the ocean. I like walking on the beach.
