I would imagine so, unless they had a complete loss of all body hair. Even then, though, I imagine that they could, since when kids get lice it's all through their clothes and you have to put all the clothes they were wearing into plastic bags for a few days until the lice die.
Man, I wish I had paid more attention to Alien 3; they went all through the whole 'lice' issue.
