About a million years ago, a friend of mine and I were on our way to see "Back to the future" in the theatre (yes that's how long ago it was!)
We stopped at the local Burger King for lunch before the movie, when I saw the actor who played Fletcher Reed on Guiding Light there with his son. His son was probably about 4 years old and he was pitching a fit. The poor guy was trying to stay low key while his son is screaming his head off. Meanwhile I'm telling my friend, (who watched General Hospital) who he was, She told him that she watched his show all the time. (The big liar that she was, lol) She insisted that we sit at the booth right behind him. Once his son settled down, he could hear me trying to explain the plot he was involved in to my friend. I noticed he was leaning further and further backward trying to hear me explain it to her, lol.
Well, I guess you had to be there, but I will never forget it.

I really didn't meet anyone, but I did see Michael E. Knight (Tad-AMC) and Tasia Valenzia (former Dottie AMC) at a mall in NC when I was a teenager. They were there for something called "Soaps Alive" which was sponsored by Soap Opera Digest. They answered fans questions, talked about the show, and gave us hints about what was going to happen on the show. I was very shy and thought of what I wanted to say to him, but the only thing I could do was smile at
him. He looked at me and smiled back. I wasn't sure if it was me he was smiling at or someone else, so I looked away and then back again, he gave me a thumbs up, so when I gave the thumbs up back, he nodded his head. That made my day, I was so happy I told everyone I knew.
I would love to go on a Super Soap Weekend too, and meet my favorite characters (AMC's Tad), (OLTL's Todd), and (GH's Jason). I like other characters too, but these are my favorite three.

When I used to live in Florida, my mom and I would go to Super Soap Opera Weekend in Orlando at Disney's MGM Studios. What a way to spend the weekend with some of your favorite soap stars. I shook hands with numerous celebs like Susan Lucci (Erica), Cameron Mathison (Ryan), Michael E Knight (Tad), Alexa Havins (Babe), Alicia Minshew (Kendall), Walt Willey (Jackson) and many other popular stars from One Life To Live and General Hospital. They have this street jam at the end of the night where some of the actors do a concert and get to showcase their vocal talent. I highly recommend it if you're going to be in Orlando around the 1st or 2nd week of November, usually that's when its held. I went to their second one they had along with their 3rd,4th and 5th one and I believe this year will be number 11.

I did a documentary in college about "Days of our Lives" and fan culture and got the chance to interview quite a few of the stars on the show at the time. Mixed experiences: some were very cool and others were very professional, but i could tell wouldn't be as nice to me if I was just some random girl they met on the street or at a fan event. Some of the nicer ones were Matt Ashford (Jack), Drake Hogestyn (John), Krista Allen (Billie), Julianne Morris (Greta), Bryan Dattilo (Lucas), Austin Peck (Austin), Eric Winter (Rex), Suzanne Rogers (Maggie).
Anyway, I've always wanted to add to the documentary and make it feature length, maybe take it to some festivals, so if anyone out there is a Days of our Lives fan and would be considered being interviewed on camera, please contact me! danielletbd@yahoo.com

I met Victoria Rowell from Young & the Restless in 1997 when I was a producer at a radio station. She's really nice and her voice sounds totally different on the air.

whilst my uncle worked in protection at Granada Studios in considered necessary Manchester,he could now and returned take me for lunch in the canteen there, and we in many cases ran into the extra ' classic' solid contributors of ' Corrie' which includes Rita's chum Mavis, ( Thelma Barlow ) and high priced previous Liz break of day who performed Vera Duckworth. Nigel Pivaro who performed Terry Duckworth, became right into a real ' looker' in those days, lol

Ex Ryan on Y&R said hi to me at the Farmers Market. I didn't actually meet him but I saw Don Diamont (Brad Carlton) driving by there the same day. He looked right at me!
