It pretty much depends on what kind of car/truck.
How old is it?
What kind of driving conditions?

Many cars don't have any serviceable bearings or bushings.
Some have a whole bunch of them.

It would have been helpfull to know what you drive.

Since you probably don't have a grease gun anyway, I don't think it matters.

Yes. Why? Because you need to lubricate joints that are in motion or require periodic lube. If you do your own oil, you can probably do the lube yourself, just buy a grease gun to take care of the chassis lube points. Usually front suspension, maybe driveshaft. They all take the same lube, mostly, so a simple gun and canister of heavy grease will do you. Probably under $20.

You shouldn't be concerned if you have a late model vehicle, most don't have grease/lube points. Check your owners manual to see if it does or call up a dealership selling your make. They will be able to tell you.

When changing your own oil, don't forget the other wear items that need replacing, such as: the air filter, wiper inserts, cabin air filter (if equipped, these get nasty after about 10k miles), etc.

Depends on the car. Some have grease fittings on things like ball joints, tie rod ends and idler arms. Some cars have these parts that are "lubed for life" and don't have grease fittings.

When you take your car in for it's regular maintenance just let them know to lube all of the certs. it should be lubed about every 5,000 miles or so. Most shops will just do it when there checking the trans. and axles
