True true! Parents they are so hypocritical

You tell your children not to take candy from strangers in hopes that they wont (when you are not there to protect them) so a child molester, and who only knows what kind of other creeps, can't lever your child in with tricks or bribes.
Any parent that takes their child or children trick or treating for candy should be with them at all times and also inspect the candy when they are finished.
The child will recognize the difference between the 2 (basically as good and bad) I do not see this situation as being hypocritical.

Yep, that's so true! Never thought about it until now. Since it's worked for so many years, I guess parents see it as a good way to make their kids happy and less upset and whiny.
