You may convince her to quit, but that would be cheating her out of an experience that she chose to try. Let her give it a try, and when she finds it too hard, be there to support her.

stay out of it or you will be the one without two friends, sounds like the best cheerleader was picked maybe lizzy shouldve tried harder and not took it for granted that because she had been a cheerleader in the past that she would automatic be on the squad.

Well, if she got picked to be a cheerleader, then she's probably good. You know, there's lots of competition to be a cheerleader, so instead of trying to get her out of it, support her. That's what friends are for.
Have you ever heard of High School Musical where the same situation happens? Would you like the same consequences, for your friends to be mad at you? Even if they end up being all good, you should at least support them.

dont convince her to not do it. let her be and do whatever she wants. if she got picked to be a cheerleader then she obviously is the "cheerleader type" let her do whatever she wants. if she isnt that great she could learn and improve and may turn out to love it! lizzy sounds like shes afraid of some competition if she wants you to convince her to quit. a true friend would support whatever she's doing not bring her down.

The cheerleading squad chose whomever they thought was best. Stay out of it. It's too bad for Lizzy that she did not get picked, but there willl be many things in life she doesn't get picked for and that's just tough.

Think it through... Write down all the pros and cons, and then see if it's going to be worth it... I personally think you should stay on the cheer leading team, make new friends and expand your horizons! Maybe you'll start dating one of the footballers, and like sitting on the bus with them. Maybe you didn't like it up to now because it was a second resort and you did it to please your dad... You might like it again if you look past those issues. If you don't like it, quit. There's no harm or shame in it... If you decide that cheer leading is not for you, no one can hold it against you... Try it for another 2-3 weeks and then decide, don't do anything impulsive during this period, you might just regret it afterwards.

Well talk to her and suggest other awesome sports out there for her on the other hand I cant beleive you would do that!! I can not beleive you would kick one of your friends off the squad for another if your BF is good she would have or will get in!!!!! I will guess that you should be happy for your friend and dont think she is going to quit just like that!! So...good luck!!!

She made the team. Quit being jealous of her and leave her alone! How would you feel if your supposed best friend tried to get you to quit something you really like? How selfish you are!!

Well, first of all if she like sit why make her stop? But if you want her to stop just tell her all the dangers of it. Like braking her arm or a leg.
