1 in 3 women due have implantation bleeding. It is light pink or brown and can last a few days. A pregnancy test will show a positive result for a few days after implantation. Here are a couple sites that I found some good information when I was searching. Good Luck!

Hmmm, well first, it seems you were trying to conceive during your luteal phase (the time between ovulation and the end of your cycle), typically this is not a fertile time. Try moving up your efforts by several days and your chances will be better. If you actually got pregnant this time it's because you ovulated later than usual. This actually happened to me on my last cycle...instead of my period coming, I began to ovulate.
So to answer your question, if I understand correctly, you're saying your period is 13 days late, except for some spotting. You could be pregnant if you ovulated late or you could just be having an off period. I would take a test. I know you don't want to be disappointed, but spending your time guessing is going to frustrate you. Take the test with NO expectations. Approach it from an angle where you are ruling things out and want to rule out pregnancy--and not that you expect it to be positive. Talking to yourself like this really does help...I've talked myself through a few negative pregnancy tests too.
If the test is negative, you might want to go to the doctor for an exam. A late period is one thing, but the spotting isn't normal. While you're there, he/she may even do a blood test because they're more accurate.
You're in a tough situation and I can understand your frustration. But the sooner you get some answers the better you'll feel. Good luck Pumpkin :)

Interesting question. Light bleeding only when you wipe doesn't really seem to fit a period. But, the biggest indicator of pregnancy is a missed period. I do know that you are most fertile 14 days before your period starts, so if you tried to conceive only 4-6 days before your period, the chances of you being pregnant are not very high. I know the feeling of not wanting to be disappointed by a negative, but the most effective thing you can do is buy a pack of home pregnancy tests, and take them every few days. Note: it's possible to get a false negative, but it's impossible to get a false positive, so keep trying! Good luck!!

I got my period right on time, the first time I was pregnant, so I ignored all my pregnancy symptoms! I got my period the following month, too. I was telling my husband "I don't feel good" and "I'm getting so fat!" I had no idea I could be pregnant!
So, if you think you might be, test!
