I'm considering buying a new computer, and I have two graphics card choices:

256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE TurboCache

256MB ATI Radeon X1300 Pro

I'm just wondering what's better.

The X1300 Pro is an overclocked X1300. The Pro has 600mhz core and 800mhz memory clocks.

The 7300LE is a downclocked 7300GS. It competes directly w/ the X1300LE. 7300LE has 450mhz core and 666mhz memory clocks. It is SLOW in games and its main advantage is in multimedia centers w/ Nvidia's PureVideo.

If want better gaming performance, get at least the 7300GT w/ ddr3 videoram.

Sadly, neither or them are good. At all, most modern games will run on that hardware.... But very slow........

Look at the bottom of the chart : Those video cards are in there.

The X1300 Pro is a little bit faster. Now by much though.

A Del GZForce 5300 is only $44 for the 128 meg card that you MUST have for Vista either now or later on.
