I think Dimmu Borgir is either French or German.... and they're more black metal than hardcore... so put down your spin kicks in the pit and pull out your book of spells and get ready to cast them on people in the pit

Not hardcore but good alternative rock would be "Jerald de palmas"... very good artist. I am into the hardcore scene and still this singer amazes me. I recomend you listen to "J'en reve encore"
