The left-wing "eco-terrorist" specifically oppose using violence to harm animal or human life. I read this from an FBI website.
The right-wing fundamentalist terrorist on the other hand thinks got is on their side and has no problem killing doctors, blowing up night clubs and federal buildings, or flying airplanes into skyscrapers.

There isn't a lot of terrorism used by the left and right here in the US. Abortion clinics and animal testing facilities get bombed on rare occassion, that's about it.
Terrorism is a tactic, though, and any differences in the tactic are bound to be minimal. It's like asking the difference between a capitalist bullet and a communist bullet. The capitalist bullet probably made someone a profit, but both will kill you just as dead.

Left wing terrorism in America is generally misguided people who feel like the righties are ruining America and need to be stopped. They are of course correct, but their approach is all wrong. Right wing terrorists convince undereducated and ignorant people they know what the world needs, get elected to high positions of power, and kill innocent people in the name of "war." We call them Republicans.
As far as terrorist terrorists, I doubt there is any real difference besides the obsession they carry.
