College is not as bad as people think or say it is. Start by getting your GED then decide what career or major you want to pursue. This will make it easier to decide between going to a community college or a 4 year college. Then just apply for admission and as much financial aid as possible. Good luck!!!!

school is about discpline.
If you have been out of the system for too long, its very hard to get back into the GROOVE. Studying and not day dreaming. Homework and not going to the pub with your friends. Review class notes and not socializing.
School is easy when you do certain things from one grade to another. ie/ math, you learned 2 plus 2 one year... then in a year or two, you learned how to multiply 2 by 2.
In short, it is definitely not going to be easy. In fact it will be twice as hard. But if you are motivated, and tired of flipping burgers... you might be persistent enough to get out of the bottom trough.
good luck

Wiht dedication, you can accomplish anything you want to. Maybe not as a particle physicist, but there are a lot of other fields to get into. If college isn't your thing, there is a lot of money to made in the trades these days. Carpenters, tilers, electricians, masons, equipment operators all make big $$.

It is still possible for you to go on to college, but you will need to get a GED (High School Graduate's Equivilent Degree) first. Also, the dropout will show on your transcripts.

Absolutely!!!!!!!!! What you need to do is enroll at a Community College. That's what my son did after he dropped out of school . He first got his GED and then applied at our Community College, took a test, and he got accepted.
It's that simple, so no need to worry at all. You will definitely get accepted and you will be be on the road to success!
Best of Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt that you can get into college without a high school diploma or GED. Get your GED, then go on to a college. Lots of people do it. Good luck to you! ☺

I've never known anyone who did that, but I think you can do anything you really want to do. there's lots of people like you who drop out, and make it through college after going back to get a diploma. try a community college, and get tutoring for help. i promise, its not hopeless. if you want to go (i think you should) get all the support you can and go for it
