As a Cowboys fan - I hope so!

Once you get to the playoffs, anything is possible...we sure saw that last year...

New Coach or not, the core group of players has been there about 3 seasons now, and looking at other NFC teams - you can't say the same thing.

Go da Boys!

Sure, they just did.
On Madden anyway, I took them undefeated. LOL
Seriously though, they do have the ingredients to do well.
Once in the playoffs, anything is possible.
I don't care what morons say they are average.
Jimmy Johnson took a bunch of average players, especially on defense, and made them champs back to back.
If the new coach has the ability, he can do the same.
Probably not this year, but I see a bright future.
WRs are getting old though, so that could be a problem.

not this year. Do you really think wade phillips can lead a team to a superbowl? Everyone knows wade is nothing more then a 1 year place holder, Cause there just wasnt any big name coaches the cowboys to grab. Next year Jones will upgrade to a big name coach. Also do you believe Wade will be able to hold T.O. in check, watch for a TO melt down this year.

No, they won't. Position-by-position, they are just average. They are very good at linebacker but pretty bad along the offensive line.

QB - Tony Romo is inconsistent and just average
RB - Julius Jones is mediocre, Marion Barber is not a big play threat
WR - T.O. is good and Glenn is O.K.
TE - Witten is very good and Fasano has potential
OL - The line is getting old and is mediocre at best. James Marten and Doug Free could become good tackles down the road but not yet.
DL - Spears, Canty, and Ferguson are mediocre
LB - a very good groop: Ware, Spencer, Carpenter, Ellis, Burnett, James, and Ayodele are good
S - Roy Williams is a good hitter, Keith Davis and Pat Watkins are okay. All are poor in coverage.
CB - Terrence Newman is good, Anthony Henry is okay, and Aaron Glen is alright

I sure hope so!

I think they have a good chance. They should finish atop the NFC easily if they play to their abilities. Best team on paper.

With Wade Phillips running the show, not a chance. Even if they did have a good coach, they don't match up against the best of the AFC. No NFC team will win the Superbowl this year.

Only if God doesn't get mad because the Cowboys are building a new stadium without a hole in the roof and HE is going to have to buy a ticket to see a game after the new stadium is completed.

Maybe eventually, but not in 2007-2008 season.

Yes, maybe not this year but soon.
And Zoomcurly, the new stadium DOES have a hole in the roof. Retractable
