yes......theres always the jerks out there, and the people that just get on because theyre bored (which sometimes i do, i have to admit, but i still answer nicely unless i really hate the question) but when i saw how many positive answers that some questions receive, it just hit me how many good or at least decent people there are out there spending some time each day just to help out complete and total strangers.
people here will answer any question from "what should i eat for dinner?" to "should i run away or commit suicide?" (have actually seen tons of answers for both those questions......and its nice, it really is, that you can actually help someone out from your own home, and that people will actually help YOU out when you need it the most.
i know everyone doesnt feel this way, and i know not every single answerer is the kindest person on earth but this site really has changed my perception of people in a positive way and i hope it changes yours too.

It has sadly only confirmed the overwhelming ignorance, on all subject matter, of the general population; people would rather believe what they want to believe rather than deal with facts and sound logic. And the abhorrent illiteracy level, don't even get me started (and I expect typos, oversights, etc.)!
It has also confirmed that the Internet is a haven for angry really screwed up people who probably should be institutionalized.
Finally, it has been a useful tool for getting answers to meaningful questions, but you still have to confirm the information and advice offered.

I have met some great people here online and formed some great bonds. For the most part I laugh at the people who are a bit crazy and share with the ones I can see are genuine. I have also learned a lot being here about all sorts of things.

No. There are a variety of people on here, with many different opinions. Some are good, some or not. Then you have the racist comments and other negative remarks.

Yes...I had "no idea" how so many people perceive my questions and others questions in so many different ways...and...
I didn't realize how funny people are, and how some serious people can get so irritated with them:)
