Do you regret it?

I got my older brother seriously punished.
He got caught doing something, lied about it, and was told he'd get in trouble if he did it again. A week or so later, I got punished for something he did, so I did what he had been caught at. Of course, they asked him and he said he didn't...and of course, they didn't believe him, and he got punished.
I did it regularly for several months to get even with him. Until one day, I went too far, and he really got seriously punished. I stopped.
Regret? I was only 5 and I must have felt horrible or I wouldn't have stopped. I don't think "regret" would have been a strong enough word for it.

Getting married when I was 18, I do regret it but I do not regret the three kids I got out of it.

Last night I left the light on in the kitchen before going to bed.
No, I don't regret it because we live in a condo and pay a flat maintenance fee.
