They must be fed insects or bugs NEVER hamburger....or just use the proper fertilizer
general purpose fertilizer once a month at 1/3 strength.

Always remember the big three. Sun, soil, & water. They like to have at least 4 to 6 hours of sunlight a day. Grow them in a 50/50 mix of peat and perlite or peat and silica sand. And always water them with distilled or rain water. Some tap water may be alright if the paerts per million isn't too high. Go to http://www.cobraplant.com/cmd.php?af=385276 and read the care sheets that they have on their site. If you provide the plants with the big three, they will attract and capture their own insects.

I understand they like humidity

The dry conditions inside a house might bother them, especially in the winter when the heating system is always on

Normal plant care will do but feeding it flies and bugs is much more fun.
