Nah. The younger kids probably wouldn't understand what the gifts were about, but still demand them. M-Day and F-Day is about showing appreciation for all of the hard work parents have to do. The kids probably won't have done much that deserved that kind of recognition in a lot of cases.

Why not? Add onto the HallMark Gimmics that already exist...

There's a Flag Day, Secretary's Day, Associate's Day, Administrative Assistant's Day, Grandparent's Day, Pets Day, Etc....Etc.....Etc....

Our family has been doing this for years.

What we done is make "Kid's Day" on the 4th sunday of July. We did it that way because Mother's Day is on the 2nd sunday of May, Father's day is on the 3rd sunday of June and so it was obvious to continue to pattern.

No. Paretns and grandparents earn their days for all their hard work as a parent/grandparent. What do kids do to earn their own day? Spend their parents money?

Totally!!! What about us that are not children, mothers, fathers, grandparents, etc. and there is no international day that commemorates us?

Even though i'm a son i would say neither because our parents do ALMOST ALL the work in the house.All we do is do chores that's it.Why there's a Mother's Day and Father's Day:because they do ALMOST ALL the work

Son's Day or Daughter's day is their respective birthdays. No need to contribute to the flagrant consumerism already in existence with the celebration of all the other "Days."
