San Diego Zoo
(its world famous!)
They give most of the animals huge habitats that seem pretty natural and it has a huge variety of animals
a close second is the san diego wild animal park

The Baltimore zoo...it's the only one I have ever been to.

I can't remember where it was but the animals roamed free and the humans walked through walk ways above them or with glass.
I liked it because the animals had more freedom.

I've only been to the Bronx Zoo
but Simon and Garfunkel wrote a song about it, so it must be great.

Any of them without cages...I hate the whole stick them in a cage mentality. The natural environment ones are much more humane.
