My neighbor used to mow her grass because she was worried about her husband. It gets really hot here and that exercise along with the heat causes heart attacks. I mow my grass because I like to mow the grass. I prefer to work outside and enjoy the exercise. Don't let anyone dictate what is OK and what is not. Do your thing and be proud of it. Women should be able to do all types of things and don't let someone tell you it's a man's job. I can do wiring, plumbing, and all types of man's jobs. Now I own apartments and do a lot of the work myself. My bank account depends on noone. There is nothing more aggravating than "wussy" women acting snobby. Next time she tries that just call her a wus and laugh (good naturedly of course) at her. She'll back off when she realizes that stupid stuff doesn't bother you.

Well Panda I am a guy and I do frown on it. I guess the reason is I am like your husband and gone all the time. My wife mows the yard, weed eats, and most all of the yard maintenance. I guess if it works for your family and my family and every one else that is in the same situation it don't really mater what every one thinks. My wife is like you, loves the excessive, and just getting to make our home look nice. She always tells me "I don't mow the grass just cause it needs cut. I mow it cause I want to make sure the place you work so hard to provide is taken care of. That makes me feal better looking at it that way. Have a good weekend and try not to mow to much.

It's no big deal! The same way it isn't a big deal when a man cooks dinner. Household chores can be a hassle, and I think that in a good marraige, a husband and a wife are able to compromise and help each other out to maintain things :-)
