You don't bribe a three year old or any age child !!!!! If they won't do something then let them do without. You start bribing them at three you lose control of them forever !!!!! Who is the adult? Yes you !!!! Who is the child? Yes they are. Put your foot down now !!! If you don't take the upper hand now you won't have it when they are ten, twelve, sixteen !!!!!

Candy or toys would be the best way to go in terms of bribes although they will grow to be spoiled and expect to be bribed all of the times when they grow older.

A three year old is looking for empowerment. Include them in your decisions, and they will be happy to compromise with your needs, and their wants without the need for a bribe. Recognition as individuals is what they value most at that age.

Candy and other sweets. Trust me, I grew up in a large family, and I was one of the oldest.
You have to be real nice about it, and act like your their "buddy". Don't act like you want them to do whatever it is your trying to get them to do...toddlers are defiant.
But you still have to be firm, and not let them get away with whatever. Don't make bribery a regular thing either...
Or you could always just walk in there and act like you completely forgot about everything, and be like "do you wanna play a game?"

I guess if you have to resort to bribing, then candy usually works.Or buying them a new toy they want.

Candy
Threat that you will call Santa and tell him what a bad kid "you" are.
Toys
(you shouldn't need to though. show him who's the boss! if the kid is out of control spank him/her.) though some ppl think that is child abuse I don't. It's discipline!
