US generals before & during the Iraq war have all said that in order to win Bush needs to have AT LEAST 300,000 US troops in Iraq.

The maximum amount of US troops in Iraq under Bush has been no more than about 160,000.

So unless for some reason you didn't make it past the 3rd grade, if you can't see the futility of US efforts in Iraq, then you are a bigger fool than Bush.

I am pro-war, here's what I think. Remember the deck of cards, 56 I think? They're all gone. Remember Saddam's army? the 4th largest on earth... gone. Remember how Al Qaeda was attacking this country every couple of years leading up to Sept 11? Not any more. Remember how nearly 3400 civilians died in one day on Sept 11? Where's your outrage about innocent civilians being killed in your own country? Why aren't you more concerned about Al Qaeda's blatant attempt to turn Iraq into the new Afghanistan? US Generals are always going to cover their A$$ by asking for more troops than we can possibly send or support. That way they can explain away their own failure. Our president knows the math all too well. What we need to be saying is we're in until it's won, if it takes ten years or a hundred. That's the only way to convince Al Qaeda that they've lost. But scumbags like you are giving our enemy hope.

not a single decision involved in the iraq war has had anything to do with what's right, smart or even well thought through.

it is, quite simply, the biggest mistake in the history of the usa.

never have so many suffered so much so that so few could prosper.
