Whilst I would love to agree with you (being a teacher it annoys me) there are undoubtedly people in here that don't have English as their natural 1st language. I bet you voted for Bush.

Eh, sometimes I confuse myself after I write something. But I often use the little spell checker, it makes me look a lot smarter when I type words like Mississippi, and electrocardiography, or maybe it just makes me look like a nutcase. Either way, I don't care.

Though yesterday a very strange thing happened to me in Yahoo answers, which has left me feeling damn angry. Sometimes I can be a little antagonistic, and this guy asked a question. Jokingly, because of bad spelling, I answered him by saying his spelling had annoyed me and he should apologize to me because it is sacrilege to insult the intelligence of someone like me who has the highest ever recorded IQ. I don't know exactly what he reported to yahoo, but I got one of those usual violation emails, and a minute later they suspended my account. I wrote them to some e-mail address they gave me and they replied with this message.

Doubtful, unfortunately. The ones who can't spell don't even seem able to use the Check Spelling button. *sigh*
