Fire Doc and draft Kevin Durant and trade for Greg Oden, keep Paul Pierce as the team leader/best player, but the rest of the team can go...and build the team around them...

Hire a nutritionist and make sure that all players on the team are eating the best diet for a professional basketball player.

Insist that Michael Olowokandi be ready to play at the beginning of the pre-season or just waive him outright. He's the biggest waste of potential since Chris Washburn.

Insist that Al Jefferson listen to somebody that knows about pro basketball and not their teen age idiot friends. Although his numbers indicate he is doing that already.

Insist the "The Truth" start making about 50% of his shots instead of the crappy Kobe-like 44% that he made last season. If he doesn't like it, trade his 56% shot missing behind to someone else before he gets any older.

Get rid of guys that are not or cannot stay healthy. There are plenty of jobs available in Europe and South America.

Look for 3, 6'8" to 6'10" athletic guys that can run and jump. Fundamentals in the NBA are at an all time low. They would help.

Insist that the guys come into camp in shape and shake the loser attitude from the past few years.

You have to start somewhere.

If the team lands Greg Oden in the draft, keep him, Pierce Al Jefferson and Rajon Rondo, and try to trade Gerald Green and the others for some more pieces. Try to sign Darko Milicic ( a good rebounder and defender) to play backup to Oden and Jefferson.
If the team ends up with Durant, try and trade him for an all-star big man and point guard.
Finally, if Doc Rivers falters early in the season, fire him immediately (even though he has just been extended).

Pray that the Lottery givesthem one of the top 2 picks so they could take either Durant or Odem. Short of that, Bean town is in for some TOUGH times.

I'm gonna trade paul pierce for some youth. Boston is nowhere near compettive. They are in rebuilding mode, but forgot to trade him to a team that won't waste his talent. Ainge is a moron trading for telfair!!!!

honestly, i dont think they should have gotten rid of telfair. He is a great player that was never given enough playing time to prove himself.

I still don't understand why they split up Walker and Pierce. I lost all faith in their management after that head scratcher.
