1) A greenhouse has a glass or other transparent roof which lets in light and retains the warmth generated by the impinging of light on the contents. The greenhouse effect is a theory that likens our atmosphere to this type of structure because certain gases absorb or reflect infrared radiation. The first reference below shows the attenuation of solar radiation due to reflection and absorption. The attenuation to radiation emitted by the Earth is much more pronounced in the infrared regions due to the much lower temperature of the Earth when compared to the Sun.

2) Greenhouse gases that come from natural resources:
Water vapor (H2O) typically 1% to 4%(highly variable)
Carbon dioxide (CO2) 383 ppmv (0.0383%)
Methane (CH4) 1.745 ppmv
nitrous oxide (NO) 0.5 ppmv
nitrogen dioxide (NO2) 0.02 ppmv
carbon monoxide (CO) trace
ammonia (NH3) trace

Ozone, at 0.0 to 0.07 ppmv, is not considered to be a greenhouse gas.

3) You can use the same list for man-made sources, and include SO2, but the percentages are different, and the source of much debate.
for instance, the complete combustion of 1 kg of natural gas (methane) introduces 2.75 kg CO2 and 2.25 kg H20 into the atmosphere. Curiously, burning 1 kg of hydrogen introduces 9 kg H20 into the atmosphere, or 1.8 times as much greenhouse gas. C3H8 + 5O2 = 3CO2 + 4H2O Burning 1kg of propane (C3H8) completely introduces 3 kg CO2 and 1.6 kg H2O into the atmosphere.

The greenhouse effect is when the heat from the sun rays is trapped in our atmosphere causing the temperature worldwide to increase. Some greenhouse gases that are totally natural are carbon dioxide(CO2) and methane(produced when you fart, which is natural). A man-made greenhouse gas are CFCs(chloro-floro-carbon). And, your welcome for answering.

There are 2 gases that represents 90% of the green house gas . First is CO2 and represents nothing as plants and photosynthesis take care of it. The plants need CO2 as much as u need oxygen. CO2 is very heavy .
Second is methane . Methane is a very light gas and goes very high in our atmosphere . At that altitude the sun light is so intense that it oxidizes the gas .
