You can send an email to the webmaster advising them that you are getting obscene, suggestive, or harassing emails from their server and would like them to address the situation.

However, this pretty much works only with dealing with one or two of their members, and all that will happen is they are likely to open up a new account under a new name and then you may start getting the emails again. And that is also only dependent if they give a damn about your situation.

The other option is to set up in your email (Outlook?) or in your anti-spam, a rule to block ANY emails from that website.

It is unlikely you can get them shut down, but you may be able to complain to your ISP and have them blacklisted on your ISP's server so the emails can never even reach you.

It is always a good idea to have two email accounts. One that is used for family and friends and not used on websites or newsgroups and blogs, the other that is visible to everyone and that catches all the freaks and spam and other undesirable mail.

Since you are using a female avatar, you may be receiving some pretty "interesting" requests just to see if they can intimidate you. To avoid that, use a gender-neutral email name. Instead of SusanB@nosuchplace.com try skb72@nosuchplace.com for example.

Good luck.

Only with a court order signed by a judge.
Unless they trade illegal and offensive goods, then the police can act on it.
