Yes, but barely. I had to score at least a 70 and I got a 77. Ironically it's because my car was a stick shift and I almost killed it at a stoplight. He told me if I had, I would have failed. Which is rediculous, what does that have to do with my ability to drive? I could have taken the test in an automatic and passed with flying colors! I was going above and beyond by taking the test in my manual car.

OH! the other thing he took off for was I was at an intesection with only stop signs. I stopped appropriately and saw a car coming. I was a little slow in realizing the car coming had a stop sign too and so I took a little longer before I proceeded through the intersection.

Then I was told in Driver's Ed that at blind intersections (usually found in residential streets where there aren't signals or stop signs or anything) that we had to slow down to 15 mph. So I did at every one during my test. He took off for that too! When he was going over it with me at the end he said I didn't need to slow down using the brakes, I just had to take my foot off the accelerator and be ready to brake if needed.

Such a jerk. Barely passing my test because I was cautious and doing what I was taught.

Lol, it's been 10 1/2 years and I'm still bitter!!!

Nope. I had to take it twice. The first time the teacher was more into sleeping than directing and teaching us. Besides. the other 2 students in the first class with me were football jocks I had a crush on. That sure didn't help. The second class I took I was the genuis in the car! Go figure that one out.

absoultely NOT!!!!!

I had been driving for four years on and off (I was travelling a good bit and didn't get back to the country enough to sort it until......)

got the forms filled, the lessons done to rid me of my bad habits and in the end let nerves and worrying get the better of me because I thought 'man if I don't get the test then what will I do...'

second time got one lesson.......

wandered down to the test center that morning.......

passed with flying colours, oh second time didn't care as much about the out come

I got 100% and aced the road test!!!!!!!

(But as he was writing up the paperwork, I forgot the car was in reverse after parallel parking, and when he said to drive back to the start, I bumped the rear cone before I threw it in drive and pulled away. The instructor didn't catch it though, so I still say I was perfect. Ha!

Yes, but I didn't really take a test.

I took it through a defensive driving course, so for 4 days he took me through the basic driving techniques and in the end I either passed or failed. There wasn't much pressure at all.

I passed on the second try. The first one I failed because I did not make a full and complete stop when the light was yellow and I was making a right turn. Totally stupid.

No. It was raining cats and dogs the kind of rain that pounds the hood like drumsticks on sheet metal, I was driving an extremely loud car, and the instructor or whaever theyre called spoke softly and barely audible. I didnt hear them say "Turn left here" and didnt turn when I was supposed to. They failed me. Whatever, I got it the next time. I was seventeen.

I passed my first time and I took it in San Francisco! A lot of people go to neighboring cities to take their driving exam because it is supposedly easier: less traffic, less hills, easier parallel parking, etc.
