Why not try Avast! Antivirus 4Home which is free and available from www.avast.com. I have been using it for 12 months and it is REALLY free and very good!

There is a free version. If you want it to be effective then pay for it. I personally reccommend CA Antivirus.

its free and can be reinstalled and downloaded over and over, I have used it for 6 years and never spent a penny. never been compromised by anything it can protect you from
