I am not sure there is one. Black would be most unusual. In China, wedding dresses have traditionally been red. The white wedding dress did not become common until the late Victorian era (late 1800's).
Olive drab might be an unusual color, but I am not sure how I would define inappropriate.

Wear what ever color you want to your wedding....its yours. I don't think color has mattered for a long time. White wedding dresses were for people who were virgins when they got married....you dont find a lot of them anymore...but a lot of white wedding dresses.

Lime green, that'd be kinda weird. My mom's best friend wore black, I want to wear lavender. Nobody I know is too big on traditional white and besides, I'm no virgin.
Every girl has their fantasy wedding and what color they wear is a signifigant part of it.

I don't think anything is inappropriate as long as you have the ceremony that goes with it.
