Tell him over dinner or when you're both sitting chilling. You have to tell him and I'm sure he'll be really thrilled, so make it a special time when you're both chilled and let him know you're good news.
Congrats!

why would you be worried about telling him? Is it something you have discussed or maybe this will be quite a shock for him. Either way you need to tell him asap cause the longer you put it off the more you will talk yourself out of telling him. Why not try something a little inventive. It's fathers day soon why not send him a card from "bump". It falls on a Sunday so he may not be stressed and tired from work. You could leave the card on his bedside table or buy the kettle, somewhere he will see it before his day even begins. I hope whatever happens that he will be thrilled by your news! Good Luck and CONGRATS!!!!

I am 12 weeks pregnant and i found to have the same issue with telling my spouse. He was always in a crabby mood. Until the other day i thought i cant do this anymore i finally just said as i know your day probally could not get any worse or any better i thought i would like you to know your are going to be a daddy. He went from crabby to happy real quick and all this time i was so nerves to tell him.

Tell him either when your'e both awake laying in the bed, or tell him after youv'e had some good sex and that will help open up the conversation on future plans for the new expected. And from what your'e asking, it almost sounds like your'e afraid to tell him for some reason. But anyway the bed is the best place to tell because it was the best place to make that baby.

Yeah, don't ever tell him before he hasn't eaten. What I would probably do, if I was nervous about saying is... After you've eaten and everything is going smooth, I would act like your situation happened to a co-worker or a friend...based on his reaction... well, good or bad confess that it's you. It sounds weird and typical, but you want to get the idea in his head before you just come out with it. Just saying "I'm pregnant" might send him into heart failure...just kidding, but you know what I mean.

The way I would tell him is buy him some kind of happy, a watch or cd, or whatever he is into and when he opens it have the test taped to it with a small note that says hello daddy or I cant wait to meet you daddy or something like that. Maybe that will help make him smile! Good luck to you and Congrads!!

how FUN for you...I've never been able to do this, so my imagination is a jumping....really quick though, i think a LOT of men come home grumpy, don't worry about that!
I totally thought the episode of full house, when becky got pregnant, and made dinner using all baby items..like baby carrots, baby back ribs etc....was so cute, lol......kinda a game to see if they notice....ummm.....another idea would be to get him mad, lol like ask him to do a bunch of stuff, or keep talking during his tv show...or something that will agitate him.....and than just say IT, right in the middle of him bitching about something or other...that'll suprise him good. and shut him up for a while.
another cute idea would be to get a cute little pair of baby shoes, or a t-shir that sais #1 daddy, or a bib etc...and wrap it up as gift for him, and let him be suprised that way..men love gifts, and he wouldn't think u'd do that.
How about taking a pregnancy test, and leaving it out somewhere he will seeit, when ur not around, than he can digest it all in private, and come to u w/ a sincere reaction. good luck..congrats!!! h ave fun w/ it!! lifes short..make as many memories u can..andp lease, geta baby book and write everything u can about ur baby to be in it....all the during pregnancy stuff..all the hospital stuff...and than everything else....weee!!

yeah that's kinda the only way to do it just wait until he get's relaxed don't just be like "hunny your home, I'm pregnant it's time for dinner" I don't think he would want you tell him like that either. just tell him when you are both siting down, or in bed.
