Yes, it is true. Pretty girls often know a lot of people and a lot of people know them in return too but they are all just acquaintances.
True friends are hard to come by and it may be made worse b'cus the girl is pretty. Many people go forward to be friendly with her b'cus they just want the rest of the school to see that they know the prettiest girl in school. It's a very shallow thing to do, but very common.
Being too pretty can be a source of jealousy, which all the more makes it tougher to find genuine friends. But of course, there won't be a shortage of guys trying to be friendly with her, unfortunately, there's a very high chance of them wanting to be anything other than friends...

when you're pretty everyne wants to get with you.
guys, girls. everyone.
I found this also to be true when it comes to pretty guys.

After the 1st layer of choice (whom you socially choose to *be with*)
comes your inner persona.
In general most people wont be that rotten to spoil a good start.
So the majority of pretty girls wil have more And will also have and be able to maintain the best friendships...

Looks are evrything. I know, Ive seen it.
And I feel very very lonely.

more male friends, less female friends (fear of competition)

and those males only pretend to be friends :)
