On quarters from 1932-1964 the mint mark is below the wreath on the eagle side, so check out that it is just a 1935. There were 32,484,000 minted in Philadelphia (no mint mark) so it is not rare the D and S are more scarce. Dealer bid for one in grade good is $2.20 which is just over the silver value in it.Even in Very fine grade it only is worth $2.60. The 1935-D is worth $10 in very fine and the 1935-S around $4.75.

Your coin may have a mint mark if so it is below the wreath on the bottom of the eagle side. The coin in average circulation is worth around $2.25 which is a little over it silver value. The D and S mint marked coins are a little more scarce and go for $2.75 to $3.50. If the coin is in high grade it of course is worth more. The values quoted are about what a dealer would pay. Most coins of this period are well worn, even though it was during the great depression. That coin is a witness to some bad times here, as well as the rest of the world. Mr Hitler was causing trouble, that would soon engulf the world in war.

it depends on what kind of cindition it is in...you may want to check the phone book for coin shops in your area, then take it down there and ask somebody who works there if they could tell you a little about the quarter (including how much it's worth)...
