Do prisoners have access to the Internet?

If so are they monitered? Are they allowed into chat rooms and such?

some do have access (because many are trying to reform, and take classes for school vai the net)

some are monitored; some sites are blocked. etc

some are allowed into chatrooms, some are not

depends on the state, the prison, the crime, etc etc
