That is pretty silly. In fact, it is kind of on the scary side. Now, filmmakers will omit smoking from their movies because they are afraid of the R rating. What next? Will showing drinking cause an R rating? Will showing discrimination cause an R rating? Will questioning the government cause an R rating? Will questioning the MPAA cause an R rating?

The MPAA is starting to get too much power without any body questioning them. Their decisions can change how people make movies. It is censorship, plain and simple.

That would be silly, but maybe there should be a Surgeon General's warning on the poster and in the credits after the movie. A lot of movies with smoking are period pieces set in times where smoking was not a big deal. "Good night, and good luck" is a good example.
