Look at each part individually.
The LCM for 98 and 49 is 49. (reduce the fraction 98/49)
The LCM for y^8 and y^4 is y^4
The LCM for x^8 and x^5 is x^5
(For variables raised to a power, the LCM is always the variable raised to the smallest power listed in your terms.)

So your LCM is 49y^4x^5.
