See all the beautiful subtle colours that are not just what some rare people could consider to be childish colours.
See some of the better colour combinations.
Try see outside the ordinary way people can often be seen to think and find the style, beauty and sophistication that can sometimes exist within ordinary things.
Look and notice things.
Don't just be taken in by the way people can often think but look at things in a way that would present a new world of possibilities.
Try to look at how words can be put together to form poetry and style and the shifting of conception that could reveal new depths in the form.
Remember when you were a child and your whole being seemed to be a receptor that was a sixth sense that could pick up on moods and atmosphere in situations and locations and try to regain that sense of wonder you felt.
Try to put across your sense of wonder at the extraordinary in th eordinary to other people so that they can at least see some of the joy in these things.

You need to have gone travelling on your own for longer than 6 months.
You need to have had a threesome.
You need to have had to drive away from the police at high speed.
You need to have spent time in severe poverty for an extended period, just to put in perspective that you are 30 and have an average of 40 years left....but they are 30 and only have an average of 7 years left
I have done all these things (and lots more) and these are the ones that make you appreciate life more, or teach you some important lessons

If you feel you are financially stable enough to do out of the ordinary things, then the thing to do is to go to big gatherings and celebrations, go to different counrties, try different foods, try a new hobby, write a book if you feel up to it, to add on to that; try big challenges. try a new thing with your girlfriend (I mean it, get creative, ask her what she would like to do). go to chocolate day in Racine county,Wisconsin,. Go to Rockafeller plaza. go to the shooting range, start a collection, try to visit a famous actors house and get their autograph. and last but not least, enjoy doing it, because if you are'nt having fun, then whats the point?
man...you still have an entire decade left before you should be looking back and saying how young you were back then and what crazy things you did. I am still young, but when I get to your age, I plan to get at least half of that list done.

Seems to me that if you consider having a girlfriend, who I assume loves you, going to university and a good job the usual things, you need to look at your value system.
You're taking for granted an awful lot, and should look at what you have compared to other people before you start thinking about keeping yourself entertained.
