Southeast Community College?
Well it isn't completely useless, but it depends on what you want it for. For general studies it is okay, for technical training it might even be considered good. However if you want a specialize area of learning (law, medicine, sciences, etc), Nebraska has many good colleges and universities to choose from.
Granted that its location is rather poor considering it is in Lincoln, where there are two universities. The thing is that SCC does not really compete with the universities. Instead, they offer classes which will help meet the basics (math, English, history, etc) of your University or College degree and train people for technical jobs that do not require a full 4-year degree.
So it really boils down to what you want SCC for. The best thing to do is compare it other schools offering the same instruction and training. Consult experts outside the schools as to which one looks more impressive on your resume for the field you want to be trained in.
